Ive done a lot of things right while growing this business and a lot of things wrong!
Because I had to scratch and scrape to understand how to get my tax business up and running, I was inspired to help as many new tax business owners who were in that exact same situation and provide a blueprint for them to follow.
The beauty of this is….I got to be my own target market. I had first hand experience of how my customer would think, the challenges they have, where we usually lived, how much income we typically make, relationship status, the whole nine yards! All of the painpoints I know, have lived it, have breathed it and didn’t read it straight from some book. Listen, Ive been the janitor, the office assistant, the office manager, tax school instructor, met people in parking lots to do their taxes, stayed up late nights at my kitchen table on Turbo Tax preparing taxes while working a full time job, running behind people to get my money after they got funded, and I would even go so far to say I had an imaginary PHD because of all of the customers problems I listened to and probably helped diagnosis!

Needless to say, I was a technician. I had the skill, but I found out quickly that I didn’t know anything about running an ACTUAL business. Managing a hobby yes….creating a business…Pssh. As I was looking for solutions, I found them true indeed, but I wasn’t satisfied with what the market had to offer. I was like…ok I have this tool buttttttttttt….and so now Im on a mission to fill in that gap!
